About Me
I am a Software Engineer specializing in the intersection of hardware and software. My work is driven by a single conviction: the most impactful technology is built when we treat silicon and code as a joint ecosystem.
The Journey to the "Bridge"
My fascination with systems began with a computer and no internet — a constraint that forced me to understand how software actually talks to the machine. That early curiosity evolved into a career focused on Hardware-Software Co-Design.
Today, I build the core system layers — spanning compilers, simulators, and embedded firmware — that eliminate the inefficient handovers between disciplines. I believe that by bringing software engineering rigor to hardware-software co-design, we enable a joint ecosystem where silicon architecture and system software are developed in harmony. This ensures that the final systems are not just high-performance, but also sustainable and built on a foundation of shared clarity.
Where I Thrive: The "0 to 1" Phase
I am at my best in the design and innovation phases, where the solution space is wide open and the architecture is yet to be defined. I find deep professional fulfillment in "0 to 1" projects, where I can:
- Establish a holistic system architecture from the start.
- Build the tooling and CI pipelines that enable rapid, reliable iteration.
- Turn abstract hardware constraints into opportunities for software elegance.
Engineering with Purpose
At my core, I believe good engineering is about shared understanding. Technical excellence matters, but its true value is unlocked when a team moves forward with clarity and purpose.
I work pragmatically, navigating real-world trade-offs without losing sight of the broader goal. Whether I am architecting an API or aligning a cross-functional team, I aim for logical clarity and reliability — ensuring the systems we build are resilient, purposeful, and easy for others to build upon.
Beyond the Code
Outside of engineering, I explore the human side of technology. I am fascinated by psychology, the dynamics of communication, and the art of explaining complex topics simply. These interests directly influence my leadership style and my approach to remote-first collaboration.
I share my evolving thoughts on engineering efficiency and leadership on my blog.
